World Teachers‘ Day: Educators SA honours outstanding educators in SA

“Leading in crisis, reimagining the future”

On Friday 30th October 2020, teachers and educators in South Australia celebrate World Teachers’ Day with the theme “Teachers: Leading in crisis, reimagining the future”. “Through the COVID crisis educators have worked hard to ensure the best outcomes for our children and young people”, says Lisa-Jane O’Conner, president of Educators SA, the peak body for educational associations in South Australia. “Like many front-line professionals, they have put the needs of children and families first, adapted their programs to be both online and face to face and exerted every bit of energy to keep preschools and schools running effectively.” As part of the annual celebrations, Educators SA presents a range of awards to recognise outstanding educators and professional associations.
