Responding to Risks of Harm Abuse and Neglect Training

To work or volunteer with children and young people in education settings you must do training about your child protection responsibilities. This training is called Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect – Education and Care (RRHAN-EC), and it outlines your child protection role as a team member in education.

Child Safe Environments Training – through their eyes

Child Safe Environments – ‘Through Their Eyes’ training is a full day course which enables managers, staff and volunteers to understand their obligations under the Children’s Protection Act to provide child safe environments within their role or organisation.

First Aid for Education & Care Settings

This course is for educators and staff working in education and care settings. It covers child-specific first aid including managing asthma, anaphylaxis, resuscitation and much more. It’s approved by the Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority (ACEQA).

Youth Mental Health First Aid Course

This course will teach you how to provide initial help to an adolescent who is developing a mental health problem, experiencing a worsening of an existing mental health problem, or is experiencing a mental health crisis.
