South Australian Well Being Leaders in Schools Association Inc

The South Australian Well Being Leaders in Schools Association (SAWLIS) is the peak body for school wellbeing educators in South Australia. Our primary aims are to be the united voice of all staff whose primary role centres around student wellbeing, and to represent this voice in discussions with the Minister, Chief Executive, Principals’ Associations, the Australian Education Union (AEU), and other key stakeholders.

Membership

Our Association is open to Student Wellbeing Leaders, School Counsellors, Youth Workers, Social Workers, Wellbeing Support Officers and Pastoral Care Workers who work in schools.

The benefits of membership include:

Acknowledgement of Country

We acknowledge the traditional owners throughout South Australia and we pay respect to the custodians of the lands on which we live and learn. We respect their spiritual relationship with Country and acknowledge that their cultural and heritage beliefs are still as important to those living today and we do so in the spirit of reconciliation.
