The School Library Association of South Australia (SLASA) represents and supports the interests of school library personnel across all education sectors in South Australia.

SLASA advocates for school libraries and the profession, provides professional learning and resource materials and maintains clear and effective communication within and beyond the profession.

SLASA’s mission is to have Teacher Librarians in every school fulfilling the dual role of teacher and information specialist, thereby improving educational outcomes by creating an information literate community
