Laboratory Managers Association of South Australia Inc.

The Laboratory Managers Association of SA Inc. (LMASA) was formed in 1994 to facilitate training, education and development of Science Laboratory personnel working in the education settings. The Association was also formed to assist in communicating ideas and information.

The Association is run by elected committee members, for members. LMASA believes that Laboratory personnel enhance the science curriculum through the process of continual improvement. By implementing technologies, we are brought closer together. Consultation with members ensures that training and development opportunities are current and best practices are encouraged. Additionally, consultation is a key process in the development of the LMASA strategic plan.

Membership

Membership of LMASA is available to Science Laboratory personnel working in the education environment in both state and independent schools. Members benefit from:

  • Access to a supportive online community
  • Region based Hub Group meetings – currently located in Northern, Southern and Riverland regions
  • Options to attend the focused Work, Health & Safety Day and the Annual Conference

Acknowledgement of Country

We acknowledge the traditional owners throughout South Australia and we pay respect to the custodians of the lands on which we live and learn. We respect their spiritual relationship with Country and acknowledge that their cultural and heritage beliefs are still as important to those living today and we do so in the spirit of reconciliation.
