Home Economics Educators South Australia Inc
HEESA is a new professional association created to support, connect and advocate for Home Economics Educators across South Australia.
We are committed to consulting with and working alongside Home Economics educators across South Australia as the subject continues to evolve.
At its core, Home Economics is about empowering individuals and strengthening communities. The foundational principles, health, resource management, sustainability, critical thinking, and informed decision-making are more relevant than ever in today’s complex world.
By supporting our teachers, we are investing in the future of our students. Let’s continue to advocate for the value of Home Economics, champion collaboration, and ensure every teacher feels confident and supported in delivering this vital subject.
Membership
These are our membership categories. You can sign up at any time during the year and the membership will last for 12 months.
- Full Membership – Individual Educator – $80 per year
- School Membership (up to 6 individuals) – $250 per year
- Pre-Service Educator – $25 per year
- Country Educator (80kms from Adelaide CBD) – $50 per year
- Technician/SSO – $60 per year
- Non-practising Educator – $25 per year
