Twilight: Planning with children…..

September 10 @ 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm

What does it mean for our planning when we see children as active protagonists….

About this Event

This session will support your practical pedagogical thinking about the implications of seeing children as active protagonists of their learning. The concept of active protagonist is a principle of the Reggio Emilia Educational Project, linked to the image of the child as capable citizens from birth and the pedagogy of listening.

Barbara Murray, a valued educational consultant with vast experience in early childhood settings including Catholic Education, will provoke our thinking about the active process of children’s learning, including learning struggles – and how we as teachers respond in thoughtful, intentional and enabling ways. We will have time to share how we as teachers make decisions and construct learning with children.
