A Roaring Success: South Australian Educators shine at the Educators Ball
On the 26th of July 2025, over 750 passionate educators from across South Australia came together at the Adelaide Convention Centre to connect, laugh, dance, and celebrate the power of being an educator in South Australia. The event, which sold out for the third consecutive year, celebrated the invaluable work of the state’s educators in a dazzling Gatsby-inspired evening.
Attendees immersed themselves in the “Roaring Twenties” theme, filling the room with an incredible energy and a sea of sequined gowns and sharp suits. The evening offered a special opportunity for educators to connect, celebrate, and enjoy a night dedicated to them.
The celebration drew notable guests, including the Honourable Blair Boyer, Minister for Education, Training and Skills and Professor Martin Westwell, Chief Executive of the Department for Education.
The night’s festivities were expertly guided by popular Adelady hosts, Hayley and Lauren, who served as the event’s fabulous MCs. Entertainment from The Baker Boys and DJ Choons and Moovz kept the dance floor buzzing throughout the night.
Beyond the glamour, the event made a significant charitable impact, raising an impressive $8,627 for BackPacks 4 SA Kids, a local non-profit organization that provides essential support to children in need.
Organized by Educators SA, the peak body for professional educator associations in South Australia, the annual Educators Ball has quickly become a cherished tradition—a night of joy, recognition, and unity for the state’s exceptional educators.
