Volunteers' Service Ceremony
National Volunteers Week is the time to celebrate the Change Makers – big and small!
This year we are celebrating 115 educators who volunteer their time to lead educator professional associations. Collectively they have given over 1097 volunteer years.
Special mention to Len Williams who had volunteered for his association for over 45 years without a break!
Their contribution is selfless, benefits their colleagues, and grows our profession.
Congratulations all!
In their honour, Educators SA donated $1 for every year of their volunteer service to the wonderful SA children’s charity, Backpacks 4 SA Kids. That’s $1097 going to kids who most need it.
