Are you in the first five years of your teaching career or about to graduate? This full-day professional learning event is designed to support, inspire and energise early career science teachers across South Australia.

Hosted by the South Australian Science Teachers Association (SASTA), the conference offers a vibrant mix of hands-on workshops, real-world teaching strategies, and professional connection — all tailored for educators working in Primary, Middle or Secondary settings.

Whether you’re looking for behaviour management tips, practical lab skills, curriculum planning tools or just a confidence boost — you’ll walk away with ideas you can use immediately in your classroom.

What you’ll gain:

  • 20+ workshops across behaviour management, lab safety, assessment, digital tools, curriculum and inclusion
  • A program designed just for early career teachers (Years 0–5 and pre-service)
  • Options for R–6, 7–10 and 11–12 teachers in every session
  • Advice on career development and TRB registration
  • The return of the Share-a-thon: short, powerful teaching ideas from your peers
  • Time to network with colleagues, presenters and SASTA staff
  • Morning tea, lunch and happy hour included

You can use your school’s professional learning credit to attend this event.
