Ready to bring your HaSS teaching to life? 🌏✨

HaSS Association Australia, in collaboration with GTASA, is hosting the HaSS Teaching Forum this July 2026 and it’s packed with ideas, inspiration and practical takeaways.

Designed for pre-service, early career, and out-of-field HaSS educators, this forum is all about building confidence in the classroom. Across a series of interactive workshops and presentations, you’ll explore curriculum, pedagogy and ready-to-use resources for History and Geography from Years 3–10.

We’ll wrap up the day with a live panel of experienced HaSS teachers, sharing real insights, answering your questions, and chatting honestly about what quality HaSS education looks like in schools today.

Plus, you’ll receive a professional learning certificate aligned to the AITSL Standards.

And yes… we’ve got you covered with tea, coffee and lunch ☕🥪

Ticket pricing:
• Pre-service (HAA or GTASA members): $25
• Pre-service (non-members): $40
• Teachers (HAA or GTASA members): $50
• Teachers (non-members): $90

Come along, connect with others, and walk away with ideas you can actually use straight away 🙌

Acknowledgement of Country

We acknowledge the traditional owners throughout South Australia and we pay respect to the custodians of the lands on which we live and learn. We respect their spiritual relationship with Country and acknowledge that their cultural and heritage beliefs are still as important to those living today and we do so in the spirit of reconciliation.
