Small World, Big Identities: Exploring Humanities in the Early Years
Join the HASS Association Australia (HAA) for a practical and engaging morning exploring how Humanities and Social Sciences can come to life in early years learning.
Presented in collaboration with Yawarra Community Early Education and Care Centre, this event will provide an opportunity for educators and pre-service educators to explore meaningful connections between the Humanities and Social Sciences (HASS) and the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
Throughout the morning, participants will connect with early years educators, explore ideas and approaches that support young children to understand themselves, their communities and the world around them, and consider how concepts of identity, belonging, place and community can be embedded into early learning experiences.
Whether you’re currently teaching or preparing to enter the profession, this is a great opportunity to build your confidence in HASS, gain practical inspiration and connect with others working across early years education.
