South Australian Philosophy in Education Association

The South Australian Philosophy in Education Association (SAPEA) is a professional organisation that is committed to actively promoting critical, creative and caring thinking.

We support and advocate for educators who foster communities of inquiry; where learners engage in imagination, analysis and innovation to develop dispositions for ethical action.

Membership

By joining SAPEA you gain access to our back catalogue of the ‘Journal of Philosophy in Teaching’ as well as subscription to ongoing issues.

You also receive discounts for attending events and training.

​We meet once a term for Philosophy in the Pub to discuss a topic with a prepared stimulus from which we encourage members to develop teaching resources that are shared with the community.
