Join CLTASA for their Term 2 EduStream Professional Development (PD) program.
Held via zoom – two distinguished Chinese education experts, Mr. Huiling Yu and Ms. Jessy Tu, will be speaking. They will also be joined by Mrs. Shelby Baker from St. Peter’s College who will share her practical experience in using AIM and TPRS in teaching.

Mr. Huiling Yu is a renowned expert in IB and Chinese language education. His lectures and materials have greatly benefited many IB teachers. His book, “Chinese A Language and Literature Course Study Guide,” is a valuable textbook and guide for all IBDP Chinese teachers. During the PD, Mr. Yu will interactively discuss IBDP Chinese learning and teaching approaches and curriculum implementation to enhance student performance and learning outcomes.
Ms. Jessy Tu is an experienced Chinese educator who has taught in Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Thailand. She is the author of many Chinese textbooks and materials and has developed her own teaching philosophy. During the PD, Ms. Tu will share her years of research on teaching resources and teaching philosophy, including connecting classroom management and formative assessment for effective teaching.
