Kodály SA

Kodály SA is the South Australian Branch of the Kodály Music Education Institution of Australia (KMEIA). We are a not-for-profit association that advocates music education for every child.

We support music education in South Australia by providing access to a high quality music education for every Australian child from pre-school through to secondary school and beyond.

Opportunities include music workshops, courses, conferences and publications.

We are guided by current learning theory and the philosophy and approaches to music education initiated by Zoltán Kodály and by the Australian Arts Curriculum. The Kodály approach has been enriched and refined over time by generations of teachers.

Membership

Our Members comprise classroom teachers, music specialists, instrumental and vocal teachers, university lecturers and tertiary students across all levels (birth to secondary) and come from all sectors of education.

Membership is organised nationally. When you become a member of KMEIA SA, you automatically become a national member of KMEIA!

Membership also gives you discounts on all professional development events and some resources.
