Noeleen Curran became a Director on the Educators SA Board and President of the Visual Arts Educators South Australia (VAESA) in 2022. She is Arts Coordinator at Valley View Secondary School in Adelaide, South Australia and teaches visual arts, creative arts and media arts from Years 7 to 12. Noeleen brings experience in governance and strategic planning to the Board and has won an award for Outstanding Contribution to Strategic Organisation at the Educators SA World Teachers Day Awards in 2021.

Noeleen developed a keen interest in supporting Preservice teachers whilst working with the UniSA Arts Education team in 2018-19 and continues to do so as a PST Supervisor in schools. In 2022, she participated in the Early Career Teacher Mentor Program and has supported Early Career Teachers in her Arts faculty.  She is a passionate advocate for all teachers from all sectors to belong to Associations.
