Over the last 6 years Kristel has worked in a small rural school in the Mid-North. During this time, she has had the pleasure to teach a variety of secondary subjects and year levels, specialising in History, Performing Arts and Geography. Having always loved learning new skills, Kristel’s passion drives her to continuously seek innovative teaching methods and create engaging lessons, to foster the same love of learning in her students.

As an educator, Kristel is proud to be an active member of teaching associations, where she has found a wealth of benefits that enrich her professional life. The sense of community, professional development opportunities, advocacy efforts and the support systems they provide, have allowed her to continuously grow as an educator. She believes that together, we can shape the future of education and make a lasting impact on the lives of our students.
