A New Training is Coming in July

A new mandatory notification training will be available from the 1st of July 2021. The new training will be called Responding to Risks of Harm Abuse and Neglect – Education and Care (RRHAN-EC).

About Responding to Abuse and Neglect Training

To work or volunteer with children and young people on department sites you must do training about your child protection responsibilities. This training is called Responding to Abuse and Neglect – Education and Care (RAN-EC), and it outlines your child protection role as a team member in education.

If you are an educator, a current RAN-EC Certificate is a requirement for registration with the Teachers Registration Board of South Australia.

Educators SA is an approved provider of RAN-EC training.

Training Details

Course type: Face to face or online
Length: Full day – 7 hours (9am-4pm)
Cost: $94.50
Materials: Learning materials provided
Suitable for: Education employees, pre service educators or people in similar roles who do not have a current RAN-EC Certificate.
