About Responding to Abuse and Neglect Training

To work or volunteer with children and young people on department sites you must do training about your child protection responsibilities. This training is called Responding to Abuse and Neglect – Education and Care (RAN-EC), and it outlines your child protection role as a team member in education.

If you are an educator, a current RAN-EC Certificate is a requirement for registration with the Teachers Registration Board of South Australia.

Educators SA is an approved provider of RAN-EC training.
