Aimed at all SACE Stage 2 PE teachers, from early career to experienced.
A must to enhance your Stage 2 PE program. This workshop is an ideal way to collaboratively plan your program.
Five of South Australia’s most highly regarded Secondary Physical Education specialists will offer insights and examples into their own successful programs allowing delegates to review, plan and improve their current programs.
The seminar will offer practical strategies to ensure a dynamic and balanced program, and allow the chance to explore key aspects of the course. There will be four specific offerings relevant to the Stage 2 PE course and allow time to review, question, plan and enhance your existing program. The program for the day includes:
- Stage 2 Physical Education: Learning Design (focus on Benchmarking) – Shane Hill, Wilderness School
- Stage 2 Physical Education: Planning effective teaching of AT1 – Manning McInerney and Stuart Wuttke, Scotch College
- Unpacking Data Collection Opportunities for SACE PE, with a Focus on AT2 Self-Improvement Portfolio – Erin McIntee, Blackwood High School
- Strategy Evaluation in Stage 2 Physical Education AT3 – Andrew Mittiga, Wilderness School
Located at the new and exciting SASI facility in Mile End, the day will also feature a tour and insight of the high performance hub facilities.
Each presenter has shared knowledge successfully with ACHPER and three have been recognised as exemplary educators through being previous recipients of the ACHPER SA Excellence in HPE, Secondary Howard Mutton Memorial Award.
