PETAA Face-to-face Professional Learning 2023
This South Australia exclusive workshop explores core texts in HASS: both Geography and History, with their specific structures and language features.
It explores how teachers can use model texts within a teaching and learning cycle to build deep content knowledge and control of important language within texts.
This is a series of two TWILIGHT workshops, with two weeks in between each session. Both sessions are to be attended.
Teachers are supported to plan language-focused literacy strategies using a core-text for a HASS topic they are currently teaching.
