SAWLIS membership base spans across primary, secondary and area/combined schools both metropolitan and regional. In attendance you are likely to see, at the very least, Student Wellbeing Leaders, Assistant Principals, Pastoral Care Workers, Social Workers and Youth Workers. We are also fortunate to often see a number of educators from the Catholic and Independent Schools as well as several parents in the audience. This conference is a great opportunity to network with like-minded professionals in the education sector.
Several stall-holders will be in attendance to provide easy access to a range of relevant books, sensory objects and wellbeing-related curriculum ideas.
SAWLIS members receive a discounted conference price to the value of their annual membership fee. The Lakes Resort offer a conference rate for accommodation and SAWLIS offer up to $100 travel reimbursement for country/regional members on application to the SAWLIS Secretary.
Attendees will receive a certificate of participation. The conference equates to 6 hours professional development
