About

The Australian College of Educators (ACE) is a leader and advocate for the teaching profession across Australia. The college delivers a range of services and support that is designed by the profession for the profession, with the fundamental objective to provide the best outcomes for Australian students, across all levels of education.

The College offers open and collaborative opportunities for our broad membership to actively engage in the broader education policy debate and to have a say in their profession. ACE continues to be a representative, authoritative, professional association for the teaching profession.


Membership

Through ACE, members actively participate in shaping their profession. Members have the opportunity to engage with other education professionals in discussions on education policy, professional development programs developed by the profession for the profession, participate in high-profile events, submit articles for publication, engage with a wide range of state and national committees, build networks across all education sectors nationwide and the use of College post nominals – AACE (Associate of Australian College of Educators), MACE (Member of Australian College of Educators) and FACE (Fellow of Australian College of Educators).

Memberships run from July – June each year and are open to:

  • All education professionals from all sectors including pre-service teacher education candidates
  • recent graduates, practising teachers, researchers, principals and leaders
  • education and policy administrators and others, who share our commitment to ensuring that the education profession is respected and valued.
